Institute for Control Engineering and Automation (ICEA) is a secondary unit of Hanoi University of Science Technology (HUST). The Institute has specialized units, including research laboratories, Institute's Office, Computer Center and test-manufacturing workshops.

ICEA's goal is to become a reputable Scientific Research - Technology Transfer Center/Unit both domestically and internationally, and to play an inportant role in the process of researching, developing, and applying technologies in the field of Control Engineering and Automation at regional & international level.  ICEA also wants to be An attractive and reliable destination for investment and cooperation in scientific research and technology transfer from both domestic and international organizations and companies, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development, industrialization and modernization of Vietnam as well as the preservation of national security and defense; supporting to educate and train masters and PhDs with excellent quality, international standards, and  reputation in the area/industry of Automatic Control and Automation.

ICEA has an organizational structure that goes with the developing model of Hanoi University of Science and Technology. ICEA Institute will make a huge step forward in terms of scale, quality of scientific research and technology transfer processes. Our institute will contribute significantly toward the implementation of critical developing strategies and most importantly, the honorable mission of Hanoi University of Science and Technology in the career of Industrialization & Modernization, Protecting & Defending the Country.
